Conference in Israel focuses on Nepal’s agricultural developments E-mail

With an emphasis on Nepal, Israel’s “Learn & Earn” programmes for agricultural transformation were discussed in one of the special sessions during the 4th Annual Conference on Israeli Solutions for Sustainable Development, held on 26 July at Tel Aviv University.

Jalan Kumar Sharma, CEO of Sana Kishan Bikash Bank, was the main speaker. He gave a presentation about the utilisation of agricultural knowledge and skills gained by Nepali students in the Learn and Earn programme, and its impact.

Gil Haskel, Head of MASHAV; Hanan Goder, Former Ambassador of Israel to Nepal; Dr Ram Fishman from Tel Aviv University and other dignitaries were present during the conference.
