Embassy continues to boost women-led startups in India E-mail

The fifth edition of the Start TLV Competition has officially been launched in India, as the Embassy of Israel in India continues to encourage women in innovation.

Following the success of last year’s event, the 2017 competition in India will focus on women-led startups under the umbrella of “25 Years of Growing Partnership between India and Israel”.

The embassy has partnered with Startup India, TiE-NCR, YES Bank & YES Global Institute and CNBC-TV18 to search for up-and-coming women-led tech startups with a social impact.

Start TLV is an annual global event organised by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Tel Aviv Municipality. This year, technology startup finalists from 23 countries will convene in Tel Aviv, Israel, in September to take part in an intensive five-day startup “boost-camp”, in collaboration with the DLD Innovation Festival.

They will join local Israeli entrepreneurs and participate in lectures, workshops and meetings with leading Israeli and international investors and professionals.
