A senior economic delegation from Hong Kong, which encompassed eight leading companies in the fields of Hi- Tech, IT and electronics, including Ronnie Chan, Chairman of Hang Lung Group; Dr Cheung, CEO of HK Applied Science and Technology Research Institute and representatives from the Innovation & Technology Commission, visited Israel between 30 October - 6 November.

The delegation was led by Dr. Roy Chung, Chairman of the Federation of Hong Kong Industries and was jointly organised by the Federation of Hong Kong Industries, the Better Hong Kong Foundation and the Consulate General of Israel in Hong Kong.

The Economic Affairs Division of Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs organised a comprehensive programme for the delegation. They met with Deputy Foreign Minister Daniel Ayalon; Ambassador Irit Ben- Abba, Deputy Director-General, Economic Affairs Division, senior government officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Professor Eugene Kendel, Head, National Economic Council, Office of the Prime Minister.
