Israel's embassy in Japan was recently higlighted in a popular Japanese TV show called “Taishikan no Shokutaku” (A Table of Embassy), is a popular BS-TV programme which reports on an embassy in Tokyo every 2 weeks.

In the middle of May, the crew of the programme visited the embassy for shooting. Ms. Yumi Masuda, a veteran announcer from Fuji-TV, cooked Israeli traditional cuisine with the Ambassador's wife, and covered the basics about Israeli food, tradition, culture, economy and technology.
