First Mikvah to be built in China since World War II |

The Rohr Family Chabad Community Centre in Beijing is building China’s first mikvah since World War II. The facility, designed by architect He Wei, will include some distinctive Chinese touches, including a pagoda and carved dome ceiling. “There’s no way anyone would mistake this mikvah for one in Brooklyn,” commented Rabbi Shimon Freundlich.
