Israel's Diplomatic Community in Asia E-mail

Since the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948 and their induction into the United Nations in 1939, Israel has established and maintained relations with 162 nations around the world.

The Foreign Ministry serves to implement and represent the foreign policy of the Government of Israel worldwide. They also promote Israel's economic, cultural, and scientific relations and foster cooperation with developing countries in a number of areas. A key function of the Ministry is also the increased development of relations with Diaspora communities and the protection of the rights of Israeli citizens abroad.
