Customers and industry buyers await rare auction E-mail

Christie's has been the world's leading auction house for extraordinary jewels for over 14 years. This year's spring auction of magnifi cent jewels in Hong Kong will take place on May 28 will feature a number of eagerly anticipated highlights, notably the 101.27ct diamond, the largest colourless diamond seen at an auction in nearly 20 years.

This stone was recently mounted in a striking tiara and is valued in excess of US$6 million. Naming rights to this rare stone will also be included with the purchase.

Relationships stemming back 60 years E-mail

There are a few companies in Asia that can boast a special business relationship with the State of Israel from its birth as a nation 60 years ago.

Israel approved for OECD's Development Centre membership E-mail

The Council of the Organization for Economic Cooperation & Development (OECD) has approved Israel’s membership in the Development Centre.

The Development Centre, established in 1962, serves to reinforce and create ties between the OCED and developing countries and to aid decision-makers in stimulating growth and improving the living conditions in developing countries.

Israel promotes water tech in Vietnam E-mail

The Embassy of Israel in Hanoi held the second video conference on “Water management and Waste water treatment technologies for the agricultural sector on 3 April 2008.

The event was sponsored along with NACESTI (Vietnam’s National Centre for Science and Technology Information) and HCACS (Ho Chi Minh Centre for Agriculture consultancy and support).
