Third China-Israel Investment Summit E-mail

The 3rd China-Israel Investment Summit was held on 27-28 June in Zhuhai, a city in southern China. Representatives of over 2,700 Chinese and Israeli enterprises networked at the event, one of the largest business forums and matchmaking conferences in China attended by Israeli enterprises.

According to the organisers, over 2,000 matchmaking meetings for B2B business between Chinese and Israeli enterprises took place and 14 project contracts with a total value of over US$3.8 billion were signed there.

The Summit is an important platform for communication and co-operation in the fields of science, technology, economy and trade between China and Israel. The previous two summits were held in Beijing and Tel Aviv.

Around 200 Israeli enterprises attended in Zhuhai, including the founders and decision-makers from many Israeli high-tech enterprises.

Guo Yuanqiang, Secretary of the CPC Zhuhai Municipal Committee, said: “Since Zhuhai and Israel share similarities in such fields as science and technology, environmental protection, agriculture and education, the co-operation between the two parties enjoys a promising prospect.”
