| Isreal participates at Bandung textile congress |

As reported by the Jakarta Post, British-based international textile organisation Ars Textrina and the Korea- based Costume Culture Association, in cooperation with Indonesia’s Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), held an International Textile and Costume Congress at the ITB campus in Bandung. Israel was one the participating countries even though officially the country has no diplomatic relations with Indonesia. Congress chairman Biranul Anas said that the event was being organised in Bandung because around 70% of textiles in Indonesia were made in the Bandung area and surrounding region.
