IMI obtains orders from Asian army E-mail

Israel Military Industries Ltd (IMI), has attained two large deals worth an estimated US$230 million. The first order is for advanced artillery systems for various ranges worth US$210 million for an Asian army and the second is from Israel’s Ministry of Defense for heavy ammunition worth NIS 90 million.

The orders come amid a struggle between IMI and the Ministry of Finance, who wants to privatize the venture.
