Daewoo and Mitsubishi cooperate to build power plant in Israel E-mail

Holding company Israel Corporation has signed a letter of intent to hire South Korea’s Daewoo Corporation to build a new power plant in the Negev desert. The equipment, which includes natural gas turbines, will be purchased from Japan’s Mitsubishi.

The binding agreement is scheduled to be signed by the end of June.
