Israeli pavilion at Singapore Water Week Print E-mail

The second Singapore International Water Week will be held at Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre from 22 to 26 May 2009. This year's exhibition will include six country pavilions including Singapore, Israel, the Netherlands, Japan, China and Germany.

In addition to the pavilions, there will be about 140 exhibiting companies from about 20 countries in over 12,000sqm of gross exhibition space. Organisers are expecting to host over 10,000 delegates and trade visitors, 70% are expected to be overseas attendees.

The Water Expo will include a Buyers’ Pavilion and Industryto-Industry Interactions. The Buyers’ Pavilion will serve as a platform for buyers of water technologies or infrastructure to share their needs with the exhibitors, discuss business opportunities and forge partnerships. This year’s theme is Sustainable Cities Infrastructure and Technologies For Water.

The Singapore International Water Week is the global platform for water solutions. It will bring policymakers, industry leaders, experts and practitioners together to address challenges, showcase technologies, discover opportunities and celebrate achievements in the water industry. The week long event is actually more than an exhibition as it also includes the Water Leaders Summit, Water Convention and Business Forums.

A related event will be held in June in China, Aquatech China 2009/Shanghai. As part of efforts to promote Israeli water technologies, the Israeli Trade Mission to China in collaboration with the new Israeli Trade Representative to Shenzhen and the Israeli Consulate General in Shanghai will organise an Israeli water industry presence at that event.
